Luther Campus Clinic
1400 Bellinger St., Eau Claire, WI 54703Provider's Bio
I help optimize patients for surgery and procedures which require anesthesia. This includes education about successful pre-operative management of medications and medical conditions and being ready for the day of the procedure. I currently serve in the pre-operative examination clinic at this clinic. I have over 20 years experience in hand surgery and bring clinical expertise and compassionate care to my patients.
Outside of medicine, I am deeply involved in my community, as a firefighter/EMT and Deputy Chief for a local fire department, and as a foster caregiver for animals through the Eau Claire Humane Association, alongside my wife. I am a retired military medical officer, a former Army medic and a combat veteran who served two tours in Iraq.
I enjoy hiking, canoeing, reading, working on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail and traveling. I like to embrace adventure and service in every aspect of my life. I also enjoy visiting state capitols, national parks and baseball stadiums.
