As an emergency medicine physician assistant, I am passionate about providing patient-centered care to rural communities. It is important that I practice emergency medicine with intent and take time to listen to patients to ensure I am addressing their medical needs appropriately.

I believe in patient advocacy with emphasis on those who speak English as a secondary language or do not speak English at all to provide them the same care as any other patient entering the emergency department.

When I am not in the emergency department, you can find me hanging out with my big, rambunctious family, acquiring a long list of books to read, coffee shop hopping, doing some kind of outdoor activity and trying to re-create my mom's Palestinian dishes!
