Jenna Tunnell, Au.D.

I’m passionate about the importance of hearing and helping my patients connect to their environment and communicate effectively with others. The ability to listen and speak is strongly linked to quality of life and overall health and wellness. For children, the earlier the intervention, the better the outcome for the rest of their lives. I believe in a compassionate and family-centered approach to diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders.

It’s important to me to learn about the experiences of my patients and their families.

Along with my listed memberships, I am the current chair for the American Academy of Audiology’s Academic and Professional Standards Council, serve on the Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist Advisory Council, co-host a monthly podcast called AudiologyTalk, and I am a founding member and past president of the Audiology Practice Standards Organization.

In my personal time, I love to cook, travel and try new things. I’ve lived and worked for many years in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and have a deep appreciation for diversity.
