Childbirth education classes and parenting resources are offered in Eau Claire, as well as Barron and Menomonie. Search Classes & Events for local class dates, method of delivery and costs. Registration is required for all prenatal and postpartum classes; class sizes are limited.

This class is designed for soon-to-be big brothers or big sisters, as well as their parents. Children will learn about newborn safety and ways they can help in their new role. Parents must accompany children. Siblings attending should bring a stuffed animal. Class is geared toward siblings ages 2 to 6.
This class is designed for women who are considering breastfeeding or those who have decided to breastfeed. It covers the benefits of breastfeeding and information needed to achieve breastfeeding goals. Support people welcome. Babies are encouraged to attend.

This virtual class via Zoom is for mothers after baby's birth. It focuses on mothers who plan to continuing breastfeeding after returning to work or school. The group will explore choices available for feeding a new baby when the mother returns to work/school. Parents will learn strategies to successfully continue to breastfeed and/or provide breast milk for their baby. Women wishing to attend this class should first attend the Breastfeeding Class during pregnancy. Breastfeeding moms, family members and child care providers are welcome. Registration is required.
This one-session class is for women in the seventh to ninth month of pregnancy or those who have recently delivered. A support person is welcome. Topics include parenting, feeding a newborn baby, bath time, sleep patterns, safety and signs of illness.
This weekly drop-in group allows moms to work through the natural ups and downs of breastfeeding with other moms and a lactation consultant. Bring your baby and personal pump or parts to use the hospital-grade pump, if needed. The group is facilitated by certified lactation consultants.
