Omar Hafz, M.B.B.Ch.

I am a resident in the Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency Program in Eau Claire.

As a physician, I believe in practicing medicine that is patient-centered, compassionate and grounded in evidence-based care. My approach combines clinical excellence with a deep commitment to listening, empathy and trust-building. I view the physician-patient relationship as a partnership, where respect for each individual’s story, values and cultural background guides every clinical decision.

Originally from Egypt, I now live in Eau Claire with my wife. Before starting residency, I worked as a general practitioner in underserved areas and provided sideline medical care at sporting events. My background as a professional athlete and my travels to over 15 countries have shaped my appreciation for discipline, empathy and cultural understanding. I’m committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected and well cared for.
