Deanna Brinks, M.D.

I am a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician with additional training in non-operative sports medicine. I firmly believe in a team approach to medicine with the common goal to improve function to allow patients to return to the activities they love. I view therapies and exercise as a vital component of the treatment plan. I also utilize ultrasound-guided interventions to provide targeted treatments for joint, tendon and muscle injuries.

I specialize in the care of athletes at all levels – from “weekend warriors” to professional athletes. Furthermore, I have experience working with adaptive athletes and am passionate about finding creative solutions to help patients continue to participate in their sport after serious injury or impairment.

I am happy to be returning to southern Minnesota. I grew up in Mankato and was very involved in sports. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, experimenting in the kitchen and staying active through soccer, cycling and inline skating.
