My practice philosophy centers on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages, with particular expertise in pediatric and emergency medicine. I believe high-quality medical care begins with listening — understanding each patient’s concerns, values and circumstances to guide shared decision-making. In high-acuity and time-sensitive settings, I strive to provide thoughtful, efficient and individualized care while maintaining clear communication with patients and families. I am committed to minimizing pain and anxiety, especially for children, through trauma-informed care, age-appropriate communication and innovative approaches to procedural comfort.
I value the integration of point-of-care ultrasound and current best evidence to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient safety. As an educator and quality improvement advocate, I believe continuous learning and system-level improvement are essential to excellent care. I actively engage in teaching trainees and colleagues and fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, accountability and respect. Ultimately, my goal is to provide reliable, empathetic and skilled care that patients and families can trust — whether during routine evaluation or critical illness.
I am a board-certified pediatrician and emergency medicine physician who is passionate about caring for patients and families during some of their most vulnerable moments. I completed my pediatric residency and my emergency medicine training, and I now have the privilege of serving patients in both pediatric and general emergency care. As a physician — and as a parent — I understand how stressful illness or injury can be, especially when it involves a child. I strive to create a calm, reassuring environment where patients and families feel heard, respected and informed. I place a strong emphasis on clear communication, shared decision-making and minimizing fear and discomfort whenever possible.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our three daughters. I love being outdoors hunting, hiking and camping, and I also enjoy cooking, woodworking and staying active. These interests help keep me grounded and connected to the community I serve. I am grateful for the opportunity to care for patients of all ages and am committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate and high-quality care.
