R.N./L.P.N. Clinical Experience

All academic nursing programs require their students to apply principles, concepts, and critical-thinking skills learned in the classroom in an acute care and/or clinic setting. Clinical experiences in the health care setting are an integral part of the nursing education process and we are pleased to support these experiences. Clinical experiences for nursing are coordinated through TCCP prior to the beginning of each semester. 

Nursing Clinical/Preceptorship Experience Programs include:

• Practical Nursing (L.P.N.)
• Associate Degree Nursing (A.D.N.)
• Baccalaureate of Science/Arts Nursing (B.S.N./B.A.N.)
• A.D.N.-B.S.N.

To initiate the nursing clinical/preceptorship experience:

• Follow the steps on Clinician Nexus.
• Once accepted and you receive your preceptor information, you will receive more information regarding orientation.
