Student Nurse Internship (Summer) in Fairmont

Mayo Clinic Health System invites you to consider a life-changing opportunity in our Summer Nursing Internship Program.

Our Summer Nursing Internship provides student nurses the opportunity to build skills and enhance understanding of nursing professionalism in the health care setting. During the 10-week paid internship, students become immersed in a patient care team and gain experience by partnering directly with registered nurse mentors to collaborate on the delivery of excellent patient care. Students who successfully complete the program receive preference for future employment following the internship program.

Internship opportunities may be located on the following campuses: Fairmont, Mankato, New Prague, St. James and Waseca. Students will earn a competitive salary during the program.

To qualify for a position, students must:

• Be enrolled in an accredited BSN degree program and graduating in December or May.
• Be enrolled in a Minnesota Board of Nursing approved summer internship academic course.
• Be certified in basic life support (CPR).
