I believe good gastrointestinal health is founded in overall holistic health, and each patient has a different story and picture of what holistic health looks like to them. Active listening, empathy and identifying each patient’s individualized needs and concerns to get to the root of the issue, is my goal.

I also believe in lifelong learning. I am constantly working to advance my knowledge in the world of gastroenterology as it is, like everything else, constantly evolving.

I began working for Mayo in 2007. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I was a registered nurse for several years in Labor and Delivery, ENT and Primary Care.

I am from the La Crosse area and am married with three children and one dog. I enjoy exercising, reading, camping, traveling (especially to warm places during the long Wisconsin winters) and spending time with my family and friends.
