Katherine Schmidt, P.A.-C.

I believe it is every medical providers' privilege and duty to provide the best care possible to every patient. I am honored to work for a hospital system that values the needs of our patients and works to provide education and research to better the medical community as a whole.

I was born and raised in Alaska, and it had been my home for 30 years before moving to Minnesota. I enjoy serving my community and patients within Mayo Clinic Health System. Prior to working here, I worked as a primary care provider at a community health center in rural Alaska.

While working in primary care, I met my husband. We have two dogs. In my off time, I thoroughly enjoy backcountry snowboarding, hiking, backpacking and am looking forward to exploring my new home of Minnesota and all the adventure it has to offer.
