Colton Burns, M.D.

I believe that family medicine is rooted in strong relationships, continuity of care and a deep commitment to the communities that we serve. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care that addresses the unique healthcare needs of each individual person while respecting their values and circumstances. I strive to care for the whole person by recognizing the physical, emotional, social and environmental factors that influence health. I aim to empower patients to take an active role in their health while emphasizing prevention, education and early intervention.

I value the privilege of caring for patients across every stage of life, including caring for newborns, children, adults and older adults. I also provide maternity care services, including labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn care in the hospital. I am committed to offering broad-spectrum, comprehensive care close to home.

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing and hunting as well as a variety of outdoor activities with my wife and two children.
