Colton Burns, M.D.

I believe that family medicine is rooted in strong relationships, continuity of care and a deep commitment to the communities that we serve. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care that addresses the unique healthcare needs of each individual person while respecting their values and circumstances. I strive to care for the whole person by recognizing the physical, emotional, social and environmental factors that influence health. I aim to empower patients to take an active role in their health while emphasizing prevention, education and early intervention.

I value the privilege of caring for patients across every stage of life, including providing prenatal care, supporting families through labor and delivery, and caring for newborns, children, adults, and older adults. I am committed to offering broad-spectrum, comprehensive care close to home.

In my spare time, I enjoy fishing and hunting as well as a variety of outdoor activities with my wife and two children.
