The food we eat to fuel our bodies can have a profound impact — both positive and negative — on our physical and mental health. I am committed to getting to know my patients, understanding their health goals and challenges, and supporting them in a way that respects their unique circumstances. What we eat is shaped by many factors, including budget, family and culture. My priority is to meet people where they are and provide tools, practical strategies and support to help them move toward their health goals. I encourage a shift away from an “all or nothing” mindset and instead, have a focus on progress — not perfection. "Let food be thy medicine." —Hippocrates
I grew up on a small farm in Wisconsin, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for hard work and community. I’ve lived in many places throughout my adult life and recently returned to Wisconsin to experience it for the first time as an adult. Despite my travels — including 8 years of service in the Army — I still consider myself a small-town girl at heart.
I’m a proud mom of two adult children and enjoy reading, listening to a wide variety of music, kayaking, meeting new people and embracing new experiences.
