I enjoy hearing each patient's story, how they have lived their lives and what is most important to them in their individual decision making. Patients can expect to be listened to and their concerns taken seriously.
I am originally from Central Ohio and went to medical school in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky. I did my internal medicine training in Boston and was a full-time hospitalist in Chicago for 11 years prior to my fellowship. My favorite part of being a doctor is helping people to make difficult medical decisions and supporting them through the end of life.
I have a wife and 3 children, and I do my best to take care of and provide for them. I also enjoy collecting baseball cards, going to the gym and learning how to do DIY projects around my home.
