The HERS Breast Center, located in the Luther Campus Clinic in Eau Claire, is specially designed to deliver advanced care in a warm, caring atmosphere. Featuring the most advanced technology available, the HERS Breast Center was designed with the needs of women in mind.
Services include:
- Free risk assessments
- Same-day screening appointments
- Same-day results for patients experiencing symptoms, such as lumps, nipple discharge, breast pain or skin thickening
- A comforting atmosphere
- A private area to discuss test results with a nurse case manager
A yearly mammogram is recommended for women age 40 and older to aid in the early detection of breast cancer.
The HERS Breast Center is accredited as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the Commission on Quality and Safety and the Commission on Breast Imaging of the American College of Radiology. This means HERS has undergone a rigorous review process and meets nationally accepted standards of care. Accreditation by the ACR demonstrates a commitment to quality care and patient safety.
HERS is nationally accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers administered by the American College of Surgeons.
