In 2022, all five Emergency Departments in Northwest Wisconsin achieved accreditation from the American College of Emergency Physicians. Accreditation is given to programs that meet the high standards established by the organization's Clinical Ultrasound Accreditation Program. Only 45 emergency departments in the nation have achieved this accreditation, and Northwest Wisconsin locations are the only emergency departments in Minnesota or Wisconsin with it.
