Wound and Ostomy Care in La Crosse

Wound and Ostomy Care nurses specialize in the care of patients with selected disorders of gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems, such as stomas, draining wounds, fistulas, vascular ulcers, neuropathic ulcers and pressure ulcers on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Hospital staff may consult our nurses for all skin, wound and ostomy needs during your hospital stay.

Outpatient services are available at the Wound and Ostomy clinic located within the Surgery Department in La Crosse. We provide direct care to ostomy and wound patients in the region through provider referral. Two certified wound and ostomy care registered nurses operate the clinic with supervision of an on-site surgeon. You may see one of these nurses with the surgeon at your appointment or the nurse only.
