    Accessibility to Services

    Mayo Clinic Health System – Chippewa Valley in Chippewa Falls offers many accessibility services for patients needing assistance. These on-campus services are easily accessible and free of charge. 

    Patient care staff can help you arrange accessibility services. Family and friends are also welcome to assist you with special needs during your visit to Mayo Clinic Health System - Chippewa Valley.

    Wheelchairs
    Wheelchairs are available free of charge for use on campus and are located at the main entrance. If you prefer a larger-sized wheelchair, please ask a staff member.

    Escorts
    Staff members are available to transport you to and from appointments, provide directions and answer questions during your visit.

    Handicapped Parking
    If you have a handicapped parking tag displayed on your vehicle, you may park in any designated parking stall.

    Van-accessible and state handicap parking spaces are located near front entrances on the campus.

    Service for Hearing Impaired
    Qualified sign language interpreters are available at no charge to persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. The MARTI video translator system is available for use as well. Please tell registration staff or scheduler that you will need an interpreter.  

    Volume-controlled telephones, pocket talkers and Telecommunications Devices for the Deaf (TDD) are available for persons who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired. Staff at information desks or your nurses can direct you to these devices.

    Restrooms
    All buildings have wheelchair-accessible restrooms with signs noting accessibility. If you have difficulty locating a wheelchair-accessible restroom, ask Mayo Clinic Health System staff for assistance.
