    Provider's Bio

I strive to work with patients on developing a comprehensive treatment plan that will work to treat the problems present while not being a burden to implement. Often, behavioral health and medical problems are seen as separate issues. The reality is that they are intertwined, and neither can be optimized without addressing the other. Ideally, any treatment plan will encompass all aspects of someone's life.

I also work to minimize medications as patients often are prescribed something different by every doctor they saw, resulting in an extensive medication list that is a burden to adhere to. Successful treatment involves pharmacy interventions, nonpharmaceutical interventions and patient-implemented practices. I will work with patients to develop these plans starting with the first visit. Every unique person should have a unique plan.

In my free time, I am usually with family or friends, including my animals. I find enjoyment in all manner of activities as I'm generally a dabbler. I am a firm believer in lifelong learning not only at work, but also in my free time. I also try to be a do-it-yourselfer as much as possible, so when time permits, I'm usually taking on some household task.
