Sandeep Patel, M.D., M.P.H.

As a pediatrician for over twenty-five years, I am humbled by the profession and recognize the importance of listening to and treating patients and families with courtesy and understanding. I value the curiosity and energy of children and believe in the power of parenting. A person only gets one childhood; my duty is to consider the whole child and optimize their well-being and development.

I grew up in Houston, Texas, as the only son of immigrant parents from India and lived with one foot in each culture. I am married to a fellow pediatrician, and we have four wonderful children. Raising them has helped me appreciate the dynamic human condition. I don’t have one specific hobby, but I enjoy problem-solving and organizing. Basically, I tinker around, fix things, and do what needs doing.
