Sandeep Pangarkar, D.O.

My personal philosophy is simple: treat each person as you would want to be treated. When a loved one is hospitalized for a serious condition, it can be a traumatic event for everybody, the patient and the family. Patients experience a lot of mixed emotions during their hospital stay and can feel like they are on an emotional roller coaster, from feeling sad and upset to having uncontrolled pain and being scared of what to expect next. It is precisely during these situations that a experienced hospitalist is critical to help make the hospital experience as smooth as possible.

I have been a hospitalist since 2002. I enjoy learning about each patient as a person and try to provide a compassionate and understanding element to a sometimes-chaotic time in their lives. "Being there" for my patients is a reward in itself.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family as well as enjoying the outdoors.
