I believe in the concept of the mind-gut connection in which our gut responds to emotional signals from the brain and vice versa. I feel it is important to sit down with patients, listen to their concerns and provide education so each patient can be an active participant in their care. I love being able to meet and talk to new patients and families. I consider it an honor to be a part of their story at some of the most difficult times in their lives

My husband and I enjoy raising our two children. We live on a tree farm and enjoy being outdoors hiking, snowshoeing, etc., when we are not at basketball games, baseball games or dance recitals. I also enjoy barre classes, reading and gardening.
