My approach is centered on listening to patients and identifying their objectives. With these objectives in focus, patients should feel integral to our team as we jointly tackle their orthopedic challenges. Every patient deserves a tailored treatment plan that prioritizes their specific needs.

I am incredibly grateful for my Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine training at Mayo Clinic and The Steadman Clinic. Both are pioneers in clinical practice and research, committed to a tradition of patient-focused care and decision-making. My goal is to perpetuate this tradition, enhancing the quality of life for patients, helping them stay active and enabling them to return to the activities they love.

Throughout my career as a professional ice hockey player, I have had the opportunity to travel and reside throughout the United States and abroad. Now, I consider myself incredibly lucky to be practicing medicine back home, serving the communities that have played a significant role in defining my identity.

My wife and I were both raised in Southern Minnesota, and we are parents to two children. My leisure time is often spent engaging in outdoor pursuits like fishing, hunting, cycling, golfing, skiing and playing pond hockey.
