Patients know themselves better than anyone — they are their own (and my) best resource when it comes to treatment. I engage in therapy with my patients — meeting them where they're at — as a joint venture where our knowledge and skills are combined to create positive and healthy solutions. A good therapeutic relationship includes trust, authenticity, freedom, challenging and positive outcomes.

I have experience working with diverse populations — from college volleyball coach to counselor at a residential adolescent treatment facility. All of these experiences have deeply influenced my work with patients and my passion for this industry. I take pride in my deep concern for patient well-being and overall betterment of functioning — it is one that comes from a place of empathy and support.
