I very much tailor well-child visits to what the parents are looking for. As you will notice, one of the first things I say when I enter the room is “any questions or concerns you want me to address today?” I also make every effort to see my own patients when they are ill. A portal message or a phone call for a sick appointment will lead me to seeing your child the vast majority of the time. I understand the importance of continuity of care and want to see your child when they are sick and well. I created a Wednesday evening clinic to be more accessible to parents with busy work schedules.

I am the proud father of eight children (you read that right)! I enjoy passing on the things I have learned as a parent to the parents in my practice — including mistakes I have made! Four of my children were adopted from Uganda, Africa, so I have interests in adoption medicine and caring for the African-American community in and around Mankato.

In my free time I enjoy coaching basketball, playing golf, and running.
