My practice philosophy is rooted in Mayo Clinic’s primary value: the needs of the patient come first. Every clinical decision I make is guided by this principle, ensuring that compassion, respect, and dignity remain central to patient care. I believe in treating the whole patient—not just the diagnosis—by integrating evidence-based practice with individualized, culturally sensitive care. I value the interdisciplinary team model, recognizing that safe and effective care is best achieved when nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals work together seamlessly. I strive to communicate clearly with patients and families, supporting shared decision-making and fostering trust. My goal is to deliver high-quality care that upholds dignity, promotes healing, and strengthens the patient-provider relationship.

I was born and raised in Madelia, Minnesota, and today I live on a farm there with my husband and our three young children. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and relaxing with a good book.
