Dave Hubbard, M.D.

My philosophy of practicing medicine is using a team-oriented approach with the patient coming first. I will need to be able to understand what the patient's needs and desires are in order to provide the best care possible for the situation that is presented.

Quite often my job is detective work, where I review the chart, gather history from the patient, family and caregivers, and listen to the observations and ideas of my medical team in order to formulate a diagnosis and treatment plan. There are times I realize I may not have all the answers right away, but I am confident in my abilities to ask for help and know where to look for answers, I will be honest with the patient when I don't know something.

I grew up on a dairy farm in western Wisconsin. In my spare time, I enjoy travel and outdoor activities.
