Grounded in attachment theory and developmental psychology, I believe that psychotherapy is a relational endeavor where the therapist provides a safe and nurturing environment in which the client can explore issues of concern.
This shared psychological space recognizes the client’s existing capacities, competencies and strengths while understanding that sometimes we get stuck in unhelpful patterns of behavior. Working together, we can recognize these patterns and develop the freedom to do things differently.
