    Provider's Bio

I see oncology patients in-person at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, Austin and Owatonna and virtually or by phone for patients in Cannon Falls and Red Wing.

As a clinical oncology pharmacist, I work closely with cancer patients who receive oral or IV chemotherapy and collaborate with their medical oncology/hematology providers to meet the needs of my patients. Not only is patient education an important part of my role, but I also help verify and determine the effectiveness, safety and tolerance patients may experience during medication therapy.

I continuously review medications throughout my patient’s treatment and may modify, discontinue or adjust medications – including those that are prescribed, herbal and over-the-counter. For instance, patients may experience chemotherapy-related adverse reactions or side effects that may be unpleasant, but my goal is to ensure supportive care measures are maximized to address these potential side effects of chemotherapy.
