My practice philosophy is grounded in compassionate, trauma-informed, evidence-based psychiatric care. I prioritize active listening, therapeutic rapport, and shared decision-making to ensure patients are respected as partners in their treatment. I strive to understand each individual within the context of their unique biological, psychological, social, and cultural experiences, while providing thoughtful diagnostic assessment and individualized treatment recommendations. When medications are indicated, I favor the lowest effective dose necessary to achieve meaningful benefit while minimizing adverse effects. Through collaboration, patient education, and ethical practice, I seek to empower individuals in their recovery and promote lasting improvements mental health and quality of life.
