Allan Bates, M.D.

I treat all my patients as if they're family and strive to comfort and reassure them when they're in the hospital. Because I've had a sick child in the hospital, I realize it's a big life event and my goal is to empower my patients, educate them about their illness and work to make them better. I often use drawings to explain medical problems and concepts.

On a personal note, my wife is a nurse. When I'm not working, I enjoy gardening with my two young children.
