While working in Mexico and Uganda, I helped develop emergency medicine as a formal specialty. I collaborate with the African Federation of Emergency Medicine and with the Global Emergency Literature Review. I aided and served Haitians, with the International Medical Corps, in response to the Haiti earthquake.
In my free time, I enjoy cave diving and mountaineering. I also like learning new languages.
