Fairmont makes changes to same-day appointments
FAIRMONT, Minn. — Same-day appointments at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont are changing.
Due to continued staffing challenges, effective Wednesday, Aug. 30, patient care is no longer available through the Same Day Clinic. Patients can now get same-day care through the Family Medicine clinic.
Here’s what’s new with same-day appointments:
- Now located in the Family Medicine clinic.
- Available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Appointments are required; walk-ins are not accepted.
- Appointments are limited. Call early in the day for the greatest availability.
If same-day appointments are unavailable, patients can access medical care through the patient portal, check symptoms tool, nurse triage line and virtual appointments. Patients can call 507-238-8500 to schedule same-day appointments.
