    'COVID-19: What's New and What's Next' community forum

    LA CROSSE, Wis. ― Mayo Clinic Health System will host its seventh community forum related to COVID-19 via Zoom on March 23 from noon–1 p.m. The topic will be "COVID-19: What's New and What's Next." The forum is free.

    What does it mean to move from pandemic to endemic, and is society there yet? Join Mayo Clinic Health System for this hourlong community forum where the latest COVID-19 information will be shared. Participants also will learn what daily life will be like following the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Participating in the forum panel will be:

    • Gregory Poland, M.D.
      Dr. Poland is director of the Mayo Clinic Vaccine Research Center. He is a leading voice on the scientific evidence supporting the benefit of COVID-19 vaccines.
    • Caroline Poland
      Poland is a licensed mental health counselor and certified clinical trauma specialist. She'll offer COVID-19 perspectives with a psychological focus.
    • Raj Palraj, M.B.B.S., M.D.
      Dr. Palraj is a Mayo Clinic Health System infectious diseases specialist. He will discuss the latest medications and treatments for COVID-19 infection.

    Paul Mueller, M.D., regional vice president, Mayo Clinic Health System in Southwest Wisconsin, will join the panelists.
