    Behavioral Health

Mayo Clinic Health System provides behavioral health services to patients of all ages — adults, adolescents and children. Our multidisciplinary team of experts helps people with various mental, addictive and emotional disorders.

A team approach is used to connect you with the right service at the right time. Your primary care provider will work with you to identify if you'd benefit from help with mood, stress, relationship issues, thinking skills, or creating a healthful lifestyle. When necessary, a referral is made to a behavioral health provider.

Primary care and behavioral health providers collaborate ensuring you receive care that fits your exact needs. Additionally, they have access to the expertise of Mayo Clinic Psychiatry, recognized as one of the top psychiatry hospitals in the nation.

Scheduling a behavioral health appointment can happen quickly for people who need immediate help.
