Visitor Restrictions │ Temporary Closures & Adjusted Hours
To protect the safety of patients and staff, Mayo Clinic Health System has implemented these visitor restrictions at the hospitals in Albert Lea, Austin, Cannon Falls, Lake City and Red Wing, and clinics in the Southeast Minnesota Region:
- As of Aug. 25: One designated visitor, 16 years or older, per patient is permitted for outpatients and inpatients. Pediatric patients are permitted two visitors.
- Inpatient visitors may come and go during the visiting hours of 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. No visitors are permitted for inpatients with COVID-19 or who are in the rule-out stage.
All visitors must comply with masking and safety requirements. Visitor restrictions are subject to change depending on the presence of COVID-19 in each community.
Thank you for your understanding as we take these necessary steps to protect our patients and staff.
