This cancer support group offers fun and educational activities to help patients, survivors and caregivers learn how to handle everyday life during and after treatment.
- Nov. 12 — "Recent Updates in Cancer Research" will be presented by Zachary Wilson, M.D. Hear about the advancements in research and cancer treatment. Cancer-related questions are welcome.
- Feb. 11. "Palliative Care." Mary Thelen. To palliate means to ease suffering physically, emotionally and spiritually. Learn more about palliative care and how it may be helpful for you or a loved one.
- March 10 — "Lymphedema" will be presented by Courtney Fedie, occupational and lymphedema therapist. Learn how to reduce lymphedema symptoms or reduce the risk of developing lymphedema.
- April 14. "Cancer-Related Fatigue." Sarah E. James, M.D., Ph.D. Fatigue is a common concern during and after treatment. Learn what causes fatigue and how to treat it.
